The exercise that's actually fun & gains surprising  results;
body, mind & spirit!

Violin River & friends all enjoy uninhibited nights of live music with friends. We celebrate our freedom, while performing; singing, dancing, cutting loose & having fun.
 
Nia is a great new way to break up the work week, reduce stress & gain better health while stimulating your own fun-loving nature!

Nia is a unique experience, but basically, we dance!

 
The dance moves are a combination of modern dance, tae kwon do, jazz, yoga, tai chi & aerobics.
 
There are three different levels geared to all fitness levels.
 
Every person is encouraged to listen to their own body & move in their own area of comfort.
 
Guided by a female instructor, the music moves you in an atmosphere of acceptance, celebrating internal peace & happiness.
 
Through these movements, we find health.  
 
 

DRESS: Wear what ever clothing you are comfortable in & gives you full range of movement
 
SHOES: None necessary. We dance barefoot. This is another way for your body to be unrestricted & free flowing.
 
MUSIC: Every instructor chooses their individual favorites from pop, rock, jazz, new age, etc. 
 
Once you learn the basic moves, you can even create your own routines around your favorite artist & style of music.
 
Nia teacher training is available throughout the year.
 
All Nia teacher's encourage students to feel comfort in their own space in order to experience their individual joy of good health through movement, which is sure to shine through in a smile.  
 
Where ever you go, whatever you do in life..
